Girls Inc. Westchester Teens To Present Entrepreneurial Workshop for Fox Lane Middle School Girls

Girls
Inc. Westchester’s Girls In Charge program will present the
third in a series of workshops for middle
school girls at Neighbors Link on Saturday, May 10, 2014. The workshop will
include 2 hours of peer education introducing girls
to entrepreneurial career possibilities,
followed by a meal and panel discussion with local business
women.The workshop aims to expose young teenage girls
to the world of entrepreneurship and encourages them to consider the possibility
of entrepreneurship as a career path. The session will consist of
fun activities and exercises for a group
of 15-25 girls that will enlighten the girls of their abilities and
show them that many of their hobbies can be turned into a business.

About Girls InCharge: We are 4 high
school advocates for the Girls InCharge program; we have been training to
deliver a workshop on entrepreneurship to middle
school girls with activities that are fun, engaging,
and empowering. We help middle school girls develop leadership skills needed for
their future.
