Impassable Roads in Northeast Westchester: Sunday Storm
Bedford school officials warned parents some buses may not get to their routes.

BEDFORD, NY — Commuting Monday morning was made more difficult in northeast Westchester due to power outages and downed trees and wires. The Bedford school district, which includes parts of Bedford, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, New Castle and North Castle, reported several impassable roads.
- Guard Hill Road - closed from Succabone Road to Clark Road
- Stone Hill Road - closed from Old Stone Hill Road to Salem Road
- Fancher Road - blocked due to wires and trees
- Route 172 - wires are down at Pound Ridge Road near Jingle Lane
- Route 22 near St. Patrick's School - only one lane is open
- Pine Brook Road - blocked due to wires and trees
