MOUNT KISCO, NY — Officials are warning homeowners to prepare now for a lack of running water on Wednesday morning.

The Village of Mount Kisco announced that the water department will be temporarily shutting off water service at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning for repairs. The potentially affected areas are properties on Timber Ridge, Langeland Drive and Byram Lake Road.

During this time, residents may not have water. The project is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Once water service returns, the water may be discolored. This will be temporary and will not pose any health risks. Running the cold water for a short period of time should help the water clear up.
