Mt. Kisco Police Blotter: Drunking Driving Traffic Accidents, Alleged Target Larceny & Uninvited Phone Calls

Here is a look back at some reports made with Mount Kisco police over the past week:
July 28, 1:31 a.m., Moore Avenue
A man was pulled over in a traffic stop at the intersection of Moore Avenue and Spring Street. Police charged the man, Joseph Angelo Caizza, a 29-year-old Mount Kisco resident, with felony DWI and DWI Special Vehicle. The report states that his vehicle hit a parked vehicle in the area, although damage extent was not available.

July 23, West Main Street
Police reported that there was a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West Main Street (Route 133) and Kirby Plaza. One of the vehicles had been backing out of the intersection. Police say the driver of the vehicle that backed out was intoxicated. The driver, Edvino Gomes of Spring Valley, NY, was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI).

Shoplifting At Target
July 30, 11:38 a.m., Preston Way
A person working for an investigation and security team at Target reported to police that they identified a man who allegedly stole two Dyson vaccum cleaners - worth more than $1,000 total - from the store on April 16, a process that included watching security camera video. Ricardo Rodrigues, a 58-year-old Port Chester man, was charged with grand larceny as a result.
July 27, 1:23 p.m., Preston Way
Police charged 20-year-old South Salem resident Sean Ryan with petit larceny. He allegedly stole an 18 pack of Coors Light.
Marijuana Possession
July 26, 12:45 a.m., Maplewood Drive
Officers went to check on a parked vehilce and allegedly found a man, Mount Kisco resident Jose Lopez-Acevedo, in possession of marijuana. The 21-year-old was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor.
July 27, 8:14 p.m., Preston Way
A bench warrant was served on Julio Trejo, a 35-year-old Mount Kisco resident. He was identified after a traffic stop in the Target parking lot. The reason for the warrant was not available.
License Plate Missing
July 26, 11:08 a.m., Smith Avenue
A license plate was reported as being taken from a trailer.
Harassment
July 28, 7:55 p.m., Gregory Avenue
A Gregory Avenue resident reported that she was being harassed by a woman who kept calling her over not being invited to a party.
Group Confrontation
July 30, 4:59 a.m., Kisco Avenue
A man reported that three men came out of a car, grabbed him and pushed hm against that car. The incident allegedly took place on Kisco Avenue, close to BMW Mt. Kisco. However, the man could not describe the three individuals or the car.
