Neighbors Link Forum to Unpack the Truth Behind Immigration Headlines
Virtual forum, "Immigration: Beyond the Headlines," takes place on September 25th at 1PM

For Westchester residents seeking a fair and balanced view of immigration amid conflicting news and social media, Neighbors Link is kicking off a virtual forum series on September 25th at 1PM. The first event, “Immigration: Beyond the Headlines,” tackles the truth behind the headlines with media and immigration experts cutting through the noise to provide perspective on how the media reports on immigration and the real impact it has on our communities.
Moderated by Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz, the forum will feature panelists, including:
· Professor Rosemary Armao, SUNY Albany – Journalism, Host of the “Armao on the Brink” podcast, former reporter, editor and panelist on the “Roundtable” and “Media Project” of WAMC, Albany's NPR affiliate
