Senators Schumer, Gillibrand & Congressmembers Jones & Maloney Endorse Democrats for New Castle in Town Council Race

Chappaqua, NY – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Representative Mondaire Jones (NY-17), and Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) today endorsed the Democrats for New Castle slate for Supervisor and Town Board. The slate includes: Holly McCall for Town Supervisor, Lori Morton for re-election to the Town Board, and Michael Weinberg, and Jennifer Bounds as candidates to the Town Board.

“I’m thrilled to endorse Holly McCall for New Castle Town Supervisor, Dr. Lori Morton for re-election to the Town Board, and Michael Weinberg and Jennifer Bounds as candidates to the Town Board,” said Senator Schumer. “Over several years, I've watched as Holly, Lori, Michael and Jennifer fight tooth-and-nail in various capacities on behalf of families and small businesses in New Castle and have absolutely no doubt that they will hit the ground running on day one in office. As I continue to fight in Washington to bring even more federal funds to Westchester County, the Democrats for New Castle slate is best positioned to help lead the local recovery and resurgence.”

"I am proud to endorse Holly McCall for New Castle Town Supervisor, Dr. Lori Morton for re-election to the Town Board, and Michael Weinberg and Jennifer Bounds as candidates to the Town Board,” said Senator Gillibrand. “This team, led by Holly, the Democrats for New Castle, represent the most experienced, dedicated and results-oriented slate. They have shown their commitment to New Castle as dedicated volunteers who work hard for all residents of New Castle. We need strong, competent and ethical Democratic leadership at all levels in New York State. I stand with Democrats for New Castle and hope you will join me too."
