Photos: Two Concerts, One Night In Chappaqua
The FDR Drive Band and Northern Westchester Flutes
Last night folks in Chappaqua were treated to two concerts with very different genres.
The FDR Drive band, which does rock and popular music, was the second in the Town of New Castle's Wednesday summer concert series. Due to the severe thunderstorm they had to switch from their planned outdoor location at Recreation Field to performing indoors at the Community Center on Senter Street. They performed several songs, including covers for the Black Eyed Peas and Beyoncé Knowles.
Meanwhile, over at the Chappaqua Library, a classical music act, Northern Westchester Flutes, performed and entertained the audience with their rthymic melodies. Music they performed included work from Georg Friedrich Handel, Paquito D'Rivera and Franz Peter Schubert.
