Polly Cooper Chapter joined veterans and community members as they marched in the New Castle Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29, to remember those who gave their lives in military service to our country. Chapter members handed out U.S. Flags along the parade route filled with spectators.

“It was a privilege to participate in the parade.” said Polly Cooper Chapter Regent Rosemarie Schmidt, “I was touched by the number of people, especially the young children enthusiastically waving flags and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today. It is inspiring to see our youth learning about the contributions of these fallen heroes.”
