Polly Cooper, NSDAR Honor Area Veterans
Local Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter presented a wreath during the Moses Taylor Jr. American Legion's Veterans Day Service

(Mount Kisco, NY) The Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR honored local veterans by presenting a wreath during the Veterans Day Service hosted by the Moses Taylor Jr. American Legion Post 136 on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Mount Kisco Veterans Memorial.
Honoring our veterans and preserving their legacy is a key component of the DAR patriotism pillar. It is an honor to join the American Legion in honoring all of our veterans everyday but is especially poignant on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Members Vice Regent Judy Carey, honorary regent Kathy Schreiber, chapter historian Jennifer Frawley, and members Barbara Napoli and Sarah Sernaker were all present to participate in the wreath laying ceremony and to represent the Polly Cooper Chapter and the DAR on a community level to honor the sacrifice of those who serve.
