The second annual event happens Saturday at Bell Middle School.

More than 350 Chappaqua Central School District students, from elementary school through high school, will showcase their work at the second annual Chappaqua STEM Fest on Saturday.
The Chappaqua STEM Fest will feature student designed experiments, inventions and research. Visitors will see a range of projects including a bike-powered generator; a ham radio display; a frozen pipe alarm; exoplanets research; and a nanotechnology study, district officials said.
In addition, local and national companies will run hands-on activities. Students will be able to explore robotics displays, chemistry experiments, flight simulators, computer programs and solar panel technology.

“Chappaqua students and faculty are deeply engaged in science, technology, engineering, arts/design and math,” said Dr. Lyn McKay, Superintendent of the Chappaqua Central School District. “At every grade level, our students have opportunities to create exciting projects. Seeing kindergarten students and high school seniors side-by-side displaying their work at last year’s STEM Fest was truly inspiring.”
