Westchester DAR Promotes College Scholarship Opportunities

Members of Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR promote 26 college scholarship opportunities

(Chappaqua, NY) Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR congratulates area high school seniors for their hard work preparing for and completing their college applications. Promoting education is one of the primary missions of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and our national organization offers 26 scholarships for graduating high school seniors as well as college and graduate students in specific programs.

DAR’s scholarships are awarded and judged without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability. The application deadline for all scholarships is February 15, 2020 at 12 midnight (Eastern Standard Time) submitted through the on-line application portal at http://dar.academicworks.com.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation’s children. Its members descend from patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War. With 178,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters worldwide, DAR is one of the world’s largest and most active service organizations.
