
Residents in the Town of Huntington can help the pets of families in need this season during a holiday pet food drive that runs through Dec. 23.
Councilwoman Susan A. Berland and the Huntington Youth Council are sponsoring the drive for families in the Town of Huntington. To participate, donate pet food to the official drop-off boxes at the Huntington Animal Shelter at 106 Deposit Road or at Town Hall at 100 Main Street In Huntington
All donations will be given to the Harry Chapin Food Bank and Humanitarian Center in Huntington Station.

The Huntington Youth Council was founded in 2003 by Councilwoman Berland and is comprised of students from each public high school in the Town of Huntington. They meet twice a month to discuss issues that affect the youth in our community and plan events that engage their peers in local issues and community service.
