Eagle Scout Project - North Babylon Boy Scout Troop 399

On December 28, 2017, Michael Quinn, a Life Scout from Troop 399, North Babylon completed his Eagle project which was to donate Smile Bags for children at Cohen's Children's Center. Michael organized two fundraising events to collect the money needed to pack each bag with small gifts and activities for the children. The actual Smile bags were provided by The Amanda Styles Cirelli Foundation which was created in memory of Amanda , who passed away at the young age of 29 after her courageous battle with cancer. With help from members of his troop and the North Babylon community, he provided 30 bags and collected over $850 for the children!
