Police Arrest Deer Park Man Wanted For Raping 16-Year-Old Girl
Officers have been searching for the man since May.
DEER PARK, NY - A Deer Park man wanted for raping a 16-year-old girl was arrested on Tuesday, Suffolk Police confirmed.
Philip Evanson, 28, was arrested by First Squad detectives on Adams Street in Deer Park. He was charged with third degree rape, police said.
He will be arraigned on Wednesday in Central Islip.

Last May, police announced they were looking for Evanson, who was wanted for having a sexual relationship with the teen, police said.
