West Babylon Junior High School Appoints New Principal
Dr. Carlos Falcon, an educator for more than ten years, was recently named principal.

WEST BABYLON, NY — West Babylon Junior High School has a new principal.
Dr. Carlos Falcon, an educator for more than ten years, will officially step into the role effective April 25, the West Babylon School District announced on Tuesday.
"I am humbly honored and feel incredibly fortunate to be named the new principal of the junior high school,” said Falcon. “It is abundantly clear that the community of West Babylon values education and continually seeks to provide engaging and meaningful opportunities for all of its students."

Falcon comes to West Babylon from the Northport-East Northport School District, a press release said, where he served as an assistant principal at Northport High School as well as the family and consumer sciences chairperson since 2019. Prior to that, Dr. Falcon worked as an assistant principal in Longwood Middle School from 2016 to 2019.
Before that, he worked as a Spanish teacher from 2008 to 2016, his LinkedIn states.

He also holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany and a master’s degree from Stony Brook University. He received his doctorate in school leadership and administration from St. John’s University.
"I am looking forward to learning the culture, meeting new people, and working alongside all of the stakeholders in the community to continue to build upon all of the dynamic things that are being done here at West Babylon Junior High School to support students,” said Falcon.
