Alan Alda was the guest speaker at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons' annual summer luncheon.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Alan Alda spoke from the heart about empathy Friday at an event hosted by the Jewish Center of the Hamptons at East Hampton Point Restaurant.
This year, the organization's annual summer luncheon honored philanthropist Nanette Rosenberg of the United Jewish Appeal, or UJA and Brown Harris Stevens, and lawyer/cybersecurity expert Lisa Sotto, who taught guests how to set their iPhone security settings for optimum privacy.
Special guest speaker was 7-time Emmy Award winner Alda, who gave an inspiring speech and also signed his latest book "If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face?"
