INNA FALIKS

East Hampton, NY --- Acclaimed pianist, Inna Faliks, will perform a concert of works by Brahms, Mozart, and Schedrin on Saturday, October 24 at 5 PM, in Hoie Hall, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The cost is $20, and children under18 will be admitted free of charge.

The New Yorker wrote that Ms. Faliks performances are “adventurous and passionate.” Born in the Ukraine, Ms. Faliks has established herself as one of the most exciting classical musical artists of her generation. She was recently named the new Associate Professor of Piano at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she also is Head of Piano. After her acclaimed teenage debuts at the Gilmore Festival and with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, she performed on many of the world’s great stages in solo performances and many first class orchestras conducted by Leonard Slatkin and Keith Lockhart, among various others. Critics agree that her performances exhibit expressive intensity and technical perfection that are captivating.
