ARF to Host Indoor Dog Training Classes This Winter

The classes will begin on Saturday, Jan. 17.

In honor of “Dog Training Month” this January, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will be holding Indoor Dog Training Classes this winter with Dog Trainer Matthew Posnick starting on Saturday, Jan. 17.

ARF’s Indoor Dog Obedience Classes:

Dogs and their handlers will learn basic obedience using positive reinforcement techniques. Curriculum includes Leash Handling, Let’s Go, Turning Techniques, Stay/Stand, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Leave It, Come, No Jumping and Leash Pulling Prevention Exercises.

Winter classes will be held at Wainscott Farms in their heated greenhouse on Daniels Hole Road, Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. (Basic) and 10 a.m. (Intermediate).

ARF’s Indoor Puppy Kindergarten

Train your puppy early! It will pay off over a lifetime.

Winter classes will be held at Wainscott Farms in their heated greenhouse on Daniels Hole Road, Saturday mornings from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and run through February 7.

For both classes, guests are asked to park at ARF Adoption Center on 90 Daniels Hole Road and walk across the street or park on the shoulder of the road.
