July Art Sale. An East End artist is selling work at her home in Amagansett July 23rd and 24th from 11am-6pm. The artist was Cooper Union trained, has won First in Show at Guild Hall Museum and has widely exhibited. Large and small oil paintings, watercolors, woodcuts and other media will be for sale. Phyllis Skolnick Hirschberg was a resident of Amagansett for 40 years. Themes include landscapes, interiors, flowers, beachscapes and New York City scenes.
