East Hampton Library Starts a "Socrates Cafe" discussion group

Socrates Cafe discussion group Sept 15 1-2:30 PM East Hampton Library

You're invited to join our Socrates Cafe group at The East Hampton Library.  The group models their discussions from the book of the same name by Christopher Phillips.

The idea behind the Socrates Café is that we learn more when we question and question with others.  There are many Socrates Cafes across the United States, at Libraries, schools, and community centers. Discussions range from the current topics of today’s news, to the age – old questions of What is…… or What if….?

The first group will be facilitated by Joseph H. Mintzer, long time resident of East Hampton; He is a retired advertising executive, writer and creator of Hamptons BohemiaHe has written numerous short stories for many publications, including the East Hampton Star.
