Montauk Fishing Report: Striped Bass Fishing is Hot

Gettum while their hot...striped bass fishing has been fantabulous this season right from the get-go with charterboats limiting easily, trolling and on diamond jigs with insane blue fish action also (under-estimated table fare, I'll get to a few recipes in future blogs).

Big porgies have also arrived on the scene — they are a blast to catch with the kids.

Fluke fishing has been hot and cold but a few doormats have been caught including a 10.7-lber aboard the this week. Montauk should be your destination right now as fishing is great, motel rooms are cheap and there's no traffic.... oh yea you can get a table at some of the East End's best eateries without a wait — imagine that.......
