Community Gathers for East Hampton Purim Feast

EAST HAMPTON, NY - The community came together on Thursday evening when the Chabad of East Hampton and Rabbi Leibel Baumgarten hosted a "Joyous Purim Feast" at Chabad House on Woods Lane in East Hampton.
The feast began with the rabbi's reading of the Jewish classic "Book of Esther", followed by a festive holiday dinner at a huge communal table. Attendees included Goldie and her son Chaikel Baumgarten and family, Dee and Lee Slavutin, Akivah Mordechai Dobryn, Terri and Richard Davgin, Adrian and Sailor Friedes, and Rosalie and Marty Gruber.
