Crossroads Music to Close Down This Year
The owner made the announcement of the closure earlier this week.

Crossroads Music, a popular local shop in Amagansett, recently announced that they will be shutting its doors at the end of this year.
While there is no official date yet, the store, located on 160 Main Street, will be continuing “business as usual” until then.
“This type of decision is amazingly difficult but it is the right thing for us at this time. We have no regrets,” owner Michael Clark wrote on the store’s Facebook page this week. “We lived a 10 year dream where we were a small part of an incredible community of musicians, events and musical happiness through education.”

In the time it has been opened, Crossroads has become the popular place for musicians, including celebrities such as Paul McCartney, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Jon Bon Jovi, to purchase supplies while spending their summers in East Hampton, according to 27east.
“The key to our musical and community impact has always been the people that are associated with our business,” Clark’s Facebook message read. “Our family members, workers, teachers, guitar techs and sound personnel gave 110% always.”
