East Hampton Airport Converting to All-Paid Parking Lot

East Hampton Town Police will be monitoring the lot to see if vehicles are parked over their limits, town reps said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Passengers utilizing the East Hampton Town Airport will see an all-paid parking facility, starting on Monday.

Parking will cost $10 per calendar day and guests can pay 24/7 through the new system.

New machines have been installed for the new, all-paid parking lot at East Hampton Airport's main terminal; a representative from Hectronic, the company that produces the machines, will be onhand to help passengers navigate the new equipment Monday, according to East Hampton Town Councilwoman Kathee Burke-Gonzalez.

East Hampton Town Police will be monitoring the lot to check for vehicles part longer than their limits.

Anyone with questions is also asked to contact the airport manager's office, Burke-Gonzalez said.

There will be two pay stations that can be used; one will be located in the vestibule of the airport lobby, and another will sited in the median of the parking lot. Instructional signage will be posted throughout the lot.
