East Hampton Historical Society to Host 2015 House and Garden Tour This Weekend
Proceeds from the event will go towards helping the historical society.

The East Hampton Historical Society announced it will be hosting its 2015 House and Garden Tour this weekend.
This yearโs tour, comprised of five unique residences, is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

โWe believe it is the mix of architectural styles โ from the turn of the century to today โ that gives East Hampton its unique character and flavor,โ Richard Barons, the Executive Director of the East Hampton Historical Society said. โOur House Tour Committee has creatively selected five houses that uniquely express the spirit of living on the East End. Different yet complementary, these private houses invite the viewer to โlook insideโ some of East Hamptonโs most alluring structures,โ
A kick-off cocktail party will be held on Friday, November 27, in order to welcome in this yearโs highly anticipated House Tour and ring in the East End holiday season.

The annual event, now in its 31st year, will be held โWhere Lily Pond Lane Meets Georgica Beachโ a stunning summer house overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Built in 1920, this โcottageโ was all about its spectacular waterfront view. John Custis Lawrence, a well-known architect, played with almost Swiss-looking balconies and Arts and Crafts columns to achieve a modern take on a summer house.
Tickets to the cocktail party are $200 each, which includes entry to the House Tour the following day.
Tickets to the self-guided tour cost $65 in advance and $75 on the day of the tour.
All ticket proceeds benefit the East Hampton Historical Society.
