EAST HAMPTON, NY - It was "Harps, Harmonicas, and Heavy Breathers" in East Hampton on Saturday afternoon, when the Baldwin Family Lecture Room at the East Hampton Library became a small concert hall.

Fans, families, experienced musicians, and the curious, gathered to hear all about the world's most popular instrument — the harmonica.

Authors/Performers/Harmonica Historians Kim Field, who has shared the stage with Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, James Cotton and others, and Randy Weinstein, co-author of the definitive "The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Harmonica", shared harmonica factual history, lore and live music.

The event was the latest in the Library's "Tom Twomey Series", and was hosted by its Chairperson Brooke Kroeger.
