
EAST HAMPTON, NY — East Hampton residents loves their library. And to that end, hoping to serve its clientele, the East Hampton Library has announced expanded hours, which begin on Tuesday, May 30.
The Library will open at 9 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Currently, the Library opens at 10 a.m. on each of those days.
The expanded schedule increases the Library’s total weekly hours from 54 to 60.

“The increase in hours is a direct result of numerous requests from our patrons. We’re pleased to meet this demand and to offer these extended hours, which will be in effect year-round,” Sheila Rogers, president of the Library’s board of managers, said.

Mon to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday to Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
