East Hampton Town Considering Adding New Position
The town announced they might create a town manager position.

The East Hampton Town Board announced during the 2015 organizational meeting last week that the board is considering creating a town manager position, according to The Sag Harbor Express.
The position would help to ’maintain continuity and increase efficiency’ in the local government, The Sag Harbor Express reports.

With the new position, the board members would be able to focus more on legislation. The manager would ‘oversee day-to-day business and act as an advisor’, according to The Sag Harbor Express.
