East Hampton Woman's Daughter Loses Everything In Hurricane Irma

She needs help so her daughter can rebuild after losing everything, including her home, car, and possessions, during Hurricane Irma.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman has seen her daughter's St. John home and car ravaged by Hurricane Irma — and she's asking for help.

Fran Donovan created a GoFundMe page, "Kim Nalepinski Hurricane Irma," to help her daughter through the most difficult of days.

"Our daughter Kim Nalepinski has lived on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands for 7 years and has made it her home," she wrote. "Hurricane Irma destroyed her home, belongings, totaled her car and decimated her community of Coral Bay. Kim has monthly bills to pay and needs to obtain a car to get around. If you can, please donate to help her to regroup during this difficult time. Love to you all, Fran and Bruce," the page says.
