Time Out New York Critic’s Pick three years running, ECHOES of ETTA is the Award-winning Etta James tribute starring New York soul-singer William Blake (2014 Bistro and NY Nightlife Award winner for Outstanding Vocalist) with Michael Thomas Murray (Music Director: Forever Dusty, 50 Shades! The Musical). Blake’s soulful three-octave range channels Miss James, with Murray, an all-star band, and a trio of sublime back-up singers delivering a no-holds-barred, powerhouse revue that BroadwayWorld calls “One of the best tribute shows of this or any year.”

Recipient of the Manhattan Association of Clubs and Cabarets Show of the Year award, ECHOES of ETTA has performed at and sold out many top NYC venues, including Birdland, the Cafe Carlyle and Joe’s Pub (2015 residency). They’ve wowed audiences from the Commissioner’s Tailgate for Super Bowl XLVIII to the NBC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (televised appearance) and recently made their international debut with Atlantis Events on the high seas of Southeast Asia.

Audiences can expect to hear many of their favorite Etta James classics and covers including At Last, Tell Mama, You Can Leave Your Hat On, Take it to the Limit, I’d Rather Go Blind, I Just Want to Make Love to You and Something’s Got A Hold On Me, in this musical testimonial to the legend who bridged the gap between Rock ‘n’ Roll and Rhythm and Blues, Miss Etta James.
