Generous Donor Offers To Match Ever Dollar Donated To Great Bonac Fireworks Show
Every dollar donated to The Clamshell Foundation will be doubled through July 15, organizers of the Great Bonac Fireworks Show say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — The love for the Great Bonac Fireworks Show continues to swell: The Clamshell Foundation announced recently that from now until the show on July 15, every dollar donated will be automatically doubled, thanks to an anonymous matching angel.
"The 37th annual fireworks celebration, "The Great Bonac Fireworks Show," hosted by The Clamshell Foundation & Grucci, takes place Saturday, July 15, just after 9 p.m. over Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton.
In addition, the 26th Annual Sandcastle Contest takes place on August 5 at Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett. The contest is open to all ages and runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The fireworks spectacular continues after the passing of Rossetti Perchik, founder of The Clamshell Foundation, who died in 2016; Rossetti’s personal financial contributions were primarily responsible for making the fireworks happen since The Clamshell Foundation took over the event.
But the tradition lives on: Both events are possible through the community's continued support.

"We are still working to raise enough money for the fireworks and any donation the community can provide will help us continue the tradition of both events, along with giving back to the local community and environment. 100 percent of all profits go back to our community," The Clamshell Foundation said in a release. The organization also funds local scholarships for students.
