ICYMI: Cops Say North Haven Man Dialed 911 60 Times, Threatened Officers

In case you missed it, here’s a story that appeared earlier this week in East Hampton Patch:
A North Haven man was arrested for dialing 911 about 60 times within an hour and a half and threatening police officers on Saturday night, according to Southampton Town Police.
Michael Ballard, 55, called police department emergency phone lines to ”berate the dispatchers and to threaten police officers” until he was arrested at about 10:30 p.m., police said.

He was charged with second degree obstructing governmental administration, two counts of second degree aggravated harassment, resisting arrest and second degree harassment, according to police.
He was arrested and brought to police headquarters for processing and held overnight for arraignment in the morning.
