Lake Montauk Harbor Focus of Special East Hampton Town Board Meeting

EAST HAMPTON, NY -Lake Montauk Harbor will be the focus of a special East Hampton town board meeting on March 22.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at the Montauk Firehouse; the United States Army Corp of Engineers and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will present a Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study for Lake Montauk Harbor, according to the office of East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell.
The purpose of the study, a release said, is to investigate potential coastal storm risk management solutions for the water body and adjacent areas, as well as future inlet dredging plans.
