It was a moment in time when most of these artists had reached their mid-careers or beyond with artists John Alexander, April Gornik, Eric Fischl, Donald Sultan, Audrey Flack, Sven Lukin, Strong-Cuevas, Robert Dash, and John Chamberlain.
