Man Slapped With Felony Charge for Using Someone Else's Beach Sticker: Police

BREAKING: The arrest took place in Montauk, police said.

MONTAUK, NY — It was no day at the beach for one Connecticut man facing a felony charge after he had a beach sticker on his car belonging to someone else, police said.

David C. Warren, 64, of Greenwich, CT ,was arrested on Saturday at 6:14 p.m. on East Lake Drive in Montauk after he displayed a "fraudulent, non-resident beach permit" issued to another plate number on his 2005 Honda CRV, police said.

He was charged with second degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, police said, and was released on his own recognizance.
