Photos: 4th Annual Montauk Seafood Festival Delights Hungry Crowd
The two-day event is sponsored by the Montauk Friends of Erin and Kiwanis Club of East Hampton and continues Sunday in Montauk.
MONTAUK, NY — Saturday was the much anticipated Opening Day of the 4th Annual Montauk Seafood Festival, sponsored by the Montauk Friends of Erin and the Kiwanis Club of East Hampton.
Hungry attendees sampled seafood delicacies from our local waters and restaurants.
The two-day event also features fun family activities and live music.

Although a free ferry ride was provided to and from Uihlein's Marine, the main event took place at Montauk Marine Basin, formerly owned by Montauk Seafood Festival Legend and Festival Honoree, the late Carl Darenberg.
Others being honored were Grand Slam Fishing Legend Captain Jake Nessel and Montauk Friends of Erin's St. Patrick's Day Parade 54th Grand Marshal Captain Paul Forsberg.

The event continues Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Montauk Marine Basin, 426 and 543 West Lake Drive, Montauk. Tickets cost $2; kids are free. Parking is free. Proceeds benefit Toys for Tots, Pediatric Trauma, scholarships and the Montauk St. Patrick's Day Parade.
