The event drew a crowd to Amagansett on Saturday.

AMAGANSETT, NY — It was fun for all on Saturday at the Amagansett Firehouse as the East Hampton Sportsmen's Alliance presented its 6th Annual Sportmen's Expo.

The event was attended by a group of local experts and collectors who shared their expertise in hunting, fishing, environmental conservation and regulations.

Hosting the event were Sportsmen's Alliance Director Tim Jack, Vice President David A. DiSunno — DiSunno also served as Amagansett Fire Department Chief from 1975 to 1976 — and President Steve Griffiths.

Also in attendance were town board candidate and environmental expert Zachary Cohen, Ed Michels, chief of the East Hampton Town marine patrol, East Hampton Town Justice Steven Tekulsky, Joe Bloecker —who volunteered to shuck fresh clams for the guests — and other local notables.

"The East Hampton Sportsmen's Alliance is a local non-profit organization that promotes hunting and fishing. We also want to protect our rights to use town and state property for everyone," the group's Facebook page states.
