Photos: 'Great Bonac Chili Cookoff' Fundraiser Draws Crowd
The Clamshell Foundation's event raises funds for scholarships and provide holiday meals for food programs at local churches.

The 2016 βGreat Bonac Chili Cookoff,β hosted by the Clamshell Foundation, drew a crowd Sunday at the American Legion Post 419 in Amagansett.
All proceeds from the fun-packed event are used for college scholarships for high school seniors, as well as to provide holiday meals for food programs at local churches.

Guests included Bobby Mott, Kim Kenney, Bob Orr, Carmen Mantione, Henry Blazer, Ray Hartjen, Peg Conklin, Damien OβDonnell, Kate Sheerin, Tom Pontecorvo and his son Nico, East Hampton Town Councilman Fred Overton, Laurie Adler, Pam and Rich Morey, Michael Pour β who filled the Hall with guitar music β Diane McNally, Emily Mamay, and Doris Anderson.
Also present were Terri Novak, representing last yearβs winner, Cowfish, P.J. Wizelius, a firefigher for New York City FIre Departmentβs Engine Company #47, Jim Cuomo, Chili Judge Michael Howell and Ross Perchik, founder and director of the Clamshell Foundation, with Sy Perchik, his dad.
