Photos: Marders 39th Annual Open House

Marders, a local garden center in Bridgehampton, once again hosted it’s famous annual Open House this past weekend.

The 39th annual event included plants, hot cider, cookies, trees, music, book lectures, birds of prey and some of the most interesting and unusual treasures and surprises to show what Marders is all about: “For a World Too Full of Sameness”.

The open house took place on Friday Nov. 27, Saturday, Nov. 28 and Sunday, Nov. 29 at the garden center on 120 Snake Hollow Road.

One of the highlights of the three days was a lecture/book signing/reception for “The Gardens of Arne Maynard”, by internationally renowned garden designer Arne Maynard (Photography by William Collinson).
