EAST HAMPTON, NY - It was a festive gathering to benefit a host of local charities that's been going strong for more than a century.
On Saturday, The Very Reverend Denis Brunelle, Rector of St. Luke's Church on James Lane in East Hampton, opened his "home" for an afternoon of fun.

The Summer Family Fair has been a tradition at the church for over 105 years. Attendees enjoyed face painting, pony rides, puppets from Goat on a Boat, including the classic Punch and Judy,, magic tricks, carnival games, arts and crafts, food and a water slide.
Special guests included internationally acclaimed clown philanthropist Dikki Ellis, founding member of the Big Apple Circus's Clown Care Program.

A portion of the funds raised from admission and a silent auction benefited local charities such as Maureen's Haven, Community Soup Dinners, The Retreat and others.
