Pierson High School Announces Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Congratulations to both students.

Pierson High School recently announced that Clara Oppenheimer and Natalie Brooks have been chosen as the Class of 2015 valedictorian and salutatorian.

The Sag Harbor students have earned the top spots in their class through their impressive and outstanding commitment to academics.

Valedictorian Oppenheimer has had a number of accomplishments throughout her high school career, including holding the highest grade point average.

She is a member of her school’s robotics team, math league and quiz bowl.

Outside of school, Oppenheimer volunteers at the Children’s Museum of the East End where she helps run a science program for the children of immigrants.

She also teaches Hebrew at the Sag Harbor Hebrew School.

She plans to attend Tufts University in the fall and focus her studies on the natural sciences.

Salutatorian Brooks also has a number of academic accomplishments and is a member of the Robotics Club and Math League.

In addition, she plays on her school’s soccer team.

She also volunteers at the Children’s Museum of the East End.

Brooks plans to attend Cornell University in the fall to study arts and sciences.
