Police: East Hampton Man Arrested For Using Fake License to Register Car
The arrest was made Thursday morning.

An East Hampton man was arrested on Thursday morning for using a fake Maryland license to register a motor vehicle at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle in Riverhead last April, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Investigators at the DMV advised Riverhead Detective Division that Clever G. Vintmilla-Romo, 38, had provided them with a fake license and used the license to register a motor vehicle in the State of New York on April 15, 2014, police said.

Vintimilla-Romo was processed at Riverhead Police Headquarters where he was charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and first degree offering a false instrument for filling, according to police.

He was then arraigned at the Riverhead Justice Court where he was released on his own recognizance, according to police.
