Police Seeking Help to Identify Female Teen Struck By Car Tuesday

BREAKING: Police have been unable to identify the incoherent teen or contact her family, authorities said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Police are asking for the public's help to identify a teenage girl who was hit by a car in East Hampton Tuesday.

According to East Hampton Town Police, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Springs Fireplace Road and Abrahams Path at 5:24 p.m.; the girl was conscious but incoherent.

She was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, authorities said; police have been unable to identify her or notify her family members.

The girl is described at Hispanic, from 15 to 17 years of age, about 100 lbs, with all dark clothing, including black pants, and a black, hooded sweatshirt, police said. She was wearing ear buds and had a pink purse, police said.
