Record Store Day 2016

This year's Record Store Day​ will be our biggest yet, with live bands, WEHM​ radio broadcast, DJ sets and exclusive new vinyl releases made available only that day (for a full list of RSD 2016 titles click the link below).

The morning starts at 10am for those eager to be first in line to purchase RSD vinyl LP's, 10" EPs, and 7" singles. At 11am Anthony of AnthonyOnAir begins WEHM's live broadcast (just as he's done for our last two RSD events), with on-air giveaways and customer interviews (perhaps a mystery celebrity or two?). At 11:30am The Glazzies​ will perform their energetic alt-rock hearts out, and at 12:30pm Memphis Crawl​ delivers a soulful stew of swamp rock boogie. We will have also have both of these bands' music available at the show. At 3pm the turntables come out as MCA spins his sonic alchemy on the ones and twos, followed by yours truly Mister Lama, and a rotating cast of misfit DJs. Come out and help celebrate live music, DJ culture, and the continuing resurgence of vinyl records.
