Sag Harbor Students Travel to Spain
The students took a school trip to Spain during the February break.

During the February break, 27 Pierson High School students traveled to Spain on a school trip, chaperoned by seven adults including Spanish teacher Toby Marienfeld, who planned the trip.
“The students had a wonderful time and learned so much about Spanish history, architecture, culture and art,” Marienfeld said.

While in Spain for 10 days, the Sag Harbor students traveled to Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and Barcelona.
The trip taught the students about art, the history of Spain and the Spanish language.

Students visited museums, castle and cathedrals and also got to cook Tortilla Espanola and Paella and take a disco tour.
