East Hampton, NY --- Every summer for more than 100 years, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church has been staging a fun-filled summer fair for kids and adults. This year’s fair will put smiles on faces on July 2 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The fair will feature antic, adventurous activities: there will be a water slide, face painting, pony rides, the hilarious Big Apple Circus clown Dikki Ellis, Goat on a Boat puppets, a bounce house, mystifying mysteries of magic, arcade carnival games and prizes, and arts and crafts. For fashion plates, there will be a vintage clothing booth that will be a costume designer’s cornucopia. For golfers, there will be a silent auction for rounds at the best Hamptons golf courses. For the gourmands in attendance, there will be a plethora of gift certificates from the finest food stores in the Hamptons. Among other auction items will be two house seats for a Broadway play. For the kids’ silent auction, prizes will include a grab bag of earthly delights, beautiful bikes, paddle boards, tennis lessons, and much more.

A portion of funds raised from the fair will be donated, through the church’s outreach program, to such charities as Maureen’s Haven, Community Soup Dinners, the Retreat, and various others.

And to keep families well nourished during the fair, there will be plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and lemonade as well as clams for seafood lovers.

The Family Fair will take place on the verdant grounds of St. Luke’s Church, 18 James Lane, from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, July 2th.. Admission is free, and each of the many games is a modest $2.
