Teen Caught with Cocaine Packaged for Sale in East Hampton Parking Lot: Police

The boy, 16, had cocaine in plastic bags in a glove box, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY: A teen was caught with cocaine packaged for sale in an East Hampton parking lot, police said.

The teen was caught on May 27 at 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a business on Montauk Highway, East Hampton Police said.

He was found with five small plastic bags, pre-packaged for sale, with numbers on them, containing cocaine, police said. The cocaine was found in the passenger side glove box, police said.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, narcotics, intent to sell, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, cocaine 500 milligrams, a felony, police said.

The teen was taken to police headquarters for processing and cash bail was set at $5,000, police said.
