Town Sends Out Mailing on Rental Registry, Code Information
If you've got questions about East Hampton's new rental registry, answers are available online and through a new mailing.

EAST HAMPTON, NY - With an eye toward getting all residents on the same page in regard to a new rental registry, East Hampton town officials have sent out a new mailing outlining all the rules.
According to East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell, as part of the East Hampton town board’s ongoing efforts to provide information to the public and enhance communication, a letter and two brochures will be mailed to property owners in the town within the next week.
More than 500 residents attended rental registry workshops at Town Hall, as well as additional mini-workshops before various civic and community groups. Also, approximately 100 residents attended a bilingual workshop sponsored by the town’s Latino advisory aommittee.

To date, more than 1,100 rental registry applications have been submitted.
