Unlicensed East Hampton Man Charged With Driving Drunk: Police
The drunk driver was slapped with a number of felony and misdemeanor charges, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A traffic stop in East Hampton led to the arrest of a drunk driver facing felony charges, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Jose Guanga was arrested on Sunday at 2 p.m. after he was seen driving a black Ford SUV on Pantigo Road and failed to signal for a left turn onto North Main Street.
A police officer stopped Guanga on North Main Street and said his breath had the odor of an alcoholic beverage, his eyes were red and glassy, his speech was slurred, and he was unsteady on his feet when asked to step out of the car, police said.

He failed all standardized field sobriety tests, police said.
A check reveal that his license had been revoked and that he had a prior conviction for an aggravated DWI charge in 2010, police said.

Guanga was arrested and charged with second degree driving while intoxicated, a felony, second degree driving with .08 of 1 percent or more alcohol, a felony, first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, no signal, a violation, and unlicensed operation, a violation, police said.
The vehicle was impounded, police said.
