Wainscott Woman Facing Felony Charge After Driving Drunk: Police
The woman's license was suspended due to a prior alcohol-related offense, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Wainscott woman is facing a felony charge after being arrested on Springs Fireplace Road, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Adele R. Filasky, 64, was arrested on Oct. 26 at 8:17 p.m. after she was seen driving a black 2009 Jeep SUV north on Springs Fireplace Road with a license that was suspended for pending prosecution in June due to a prior alcohol-related offense.
She was charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, and second degree committing aggravated unlicensed operation/alcohol or drug, police said. She was also charged with driving while ability impaired by the consumption of alcohol, police said.

Upon investigation, Filasky's breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage, her eyes were bloodshot and glassy, her speech was slurred and she was unsteady on her feet, police said.
